Pawtese was born from love, curiosity, and a deep desire to do better for our pets.

Our journey began with Ollie, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who struggled with persistent allergies. Like many pet parents, we initially trusted conventional advice—until we realised that processed pet food was often part of the problem, not the solution. That moment changed everything.

Determined to help Ollie thrive, we began studying canine nutrition, diving deep into natural feeding, holistic health, and the connection between diet and wellbeing. What started as a personal mission quickly became a passion—and soon expanded beyond dogs to include cats as well, as we saw how many pets were facing similar issues.

Along the way came Benji, another Cavalier who became part of our growing family, and later Betty—our beloved senior rescue. Betty changed us in ways we never expected. She inspired us to go even further, not just improving the lives of our own pets, but helping others too.

This led to the creation of Betty’s Raw Recipes in Malta, where we began producing fresh, species-appropriate meals made with real, nourishing ingredients for both dogs and cats. But we soon realised that food was only one piece of the puzzle. 

There was a clear need for clean, natural supplements, gentle grooming products, and truly healthy treats—products without unnecessary fillers, artificial additives, or “nasties.”

And so, Pawtese was born.

Today, Pawtese represents everything we believe in: natural, honest, and effective care for both dogs and cats. Every product we create is guided by our journey, inspired by our pets, and rooted in a commitment to helping them live healthier, happier lives.

Because they deserve nothing less.
